Radical Cystectomy
Radical cystectomy is a surgical procedure we preform for the treatment of bladder cancer with the main objective of the procedure being to remove all of the bladder cancer. Typically, surgery involves making incisions in the lower abdomen and removing the bilateral pelvic lymph nodes, bladder, and in men the prostate gland and seminal vesicles, and in women the uterus and ovaries if present. In some instances, the urethra may also be removed. We urge you to learn more by visiting one of our doctors today.
